Now Faber must face one of the hungriest young up-and-comers in the division in Renan Pegado for an interim belt, and oddsmakers at Bovada Sportsbook have the former WEC champ listed as the underdog for Saturday's fight in Calgary. Currently handicapped at +160, Faber will need all his speed and experience to pay off against an aggressive opponent who will be taking the fight to him.
Barao has been an absolute wrecking machine at Bantamweight, compiling a record of 28-1-1 including a 27-fight unbeaten streak. He’s a combination of vicious striking and world-class jiu-jitsu skills with 19 finishes in 28 wins.
