History:
Miller Park will feature a
four-tier seating bowl consisting
of the field level, loge level,
club level and terrace level.
The ballpark is the only one
in North America to feature
a convertible, fan-shaped
roof guaranteeing that baseball
will be played, even on the
most inclement of Wisconsin
days. Miller Park construction
began in October, 1996. The
ballpark is being funded by
a 0.1% sales tax in five counties.
The Brewers are contributing
$90 million to the project,
including a 20-year, $41.2
million naming rights deal
with the Miller Brewing Company.
